What is the role?
As a Miner Technician, you will be working with state-of-the-art computing and networking equipment allowing for the team to ensure fast upkeep and turnaround times and under general supervision, perform a variety of routine maintenance.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily retrieving, confirming and returning miners to their specific spots within the plant, according to our internal ticketing system. This person will also be responsible for data collection, fulfilling various projects and tasks as needed in the dept, and ensuring that the facility is available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition. This individual operates a variety of maintenance and cleaning tools and equipment; and performs related work as directed by the Facility Supervisor.
We are looking to hire a Miner Technician to help fulfill various projects and tasks as needed in the dept. This is an essential role in our rapidly expanding infrastructure.
You must be within a 1HR commute from the site or willing to relocate.
Duties and Responsibilities
General facility duties as assigned
Understand operations and infrastructure of the site
Basic miner diagnostics and repair
Intro mechanical skills
Operate a variety of maintenance equipment in a safe and effective manner
Execute facility upkeep including equipment upgrades, documenting plant function records, conducting routine inspections, and handling maintenance paperwork
Change air filters in mining containers.
Intake deliveries and prepare shipments
Repair, maintain/monitor all equipment and amenities
On call maintenance for all facilities, 24/7
Maintain exterior property, including snow removal
Assist with all installments/removals
Other responsibilities designated by the Supervisor and/or Facility Operations Manager
And other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have some experience in, production, manufacturing, construction, shipping, electrical and/or troubleshooting. Ability to be a problem solver, diligent, hard worker, team player, and demonstrate flexibility. This is an exciting company that is experiencing amazing growth at a rapid pace.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus+
Education/Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years’ experience in, production, manufacturing, construction, shipping, electrical and/or troubleshooting
Bitcoin mining farm experience is a plus+
Physical Demands/ Work Environment
The individual must have the ability to be on your feet 7+ hours per day
Ability to lift/carry 30-50 lbs
Tolerance to Harsh Conditions - our working environment is both indoors and outdoors and includes cold rooms with excess wind speed and hot rooms.
