Job description

We are hiring a Cryptocurrency Mining Technician (Level 1) to support the day-to-day operations of our Bitcoin mining facility. This is an entry-level position, ideal for individuals with basic technical backgrounds and a desire to learn cryptocurrency mining operations. The technician will assist in monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting mining hardware and software issues under the supervision of a supervisor to ensure efficient and reliable operations.

Main Responsibilities

1. Assist in daily inspections and basic maintenance of mining hardware.

2. Monitor the mining system and report hardware or software issues to senior technicians.

3. Perform basic troubleshooting according to established procedures.

4. Support the installation and setup of mining equipment and related software.

5. Assist in maintaining mining software s under supervision.

6. Assist in monitoring system performance and uptime.

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Associate's degree, technical certification, or related coursework in information technology, electronics, or a related field preferred.

2. 0-1 year of experience in technical, IT support, or hands-on technical positions preferred.

3. Basic knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems.

4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

5. Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts or weekend work when necessary.

6. Ability to handle equipment weighing up to 50 lbs (approximately 23 kg).

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)

1. Understanding of cryptocurrency or blockchain concepts.

2. Familiarity with data center or equipment maintenance environments.
