Position overview:
Mining operation technology is an important part of Bitcoin mining operations. This position is part of a larger team that provides 24/7 coverage and support to mining operations and assists the work of the Engineering and Facilities teams.

Responsibilities and obligations:
1. Record and scan equipment shipments - Ensure accuracy of record keeping and inventory maintenance, maintain tracking spreadsheets and/or s and open and tracking orders.
2. Assist with special projects installing or reorganizing mining equipment as needed.
3. Assist the mining machine to perform basic maintenance, such as replacing fans and power supplies.
4. Monitor pool data and communicate significant changes.
5. Determine when the problem affects the production environment.
6. Escort approved visitors to and from various locations throughout the facility to work on equipment.
7. Provide assistance over the phone, which may include simple troubleshooting and device restarts.
8. Assist the facilities team with building and electrical maintenance:
9. Communicate HVAC or power issues.
10. Assist with problem solving as needed.
11. Monitor temperature; communicate any sudden changes in data center or office space temperature.
12. Assume additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Education: High school or equivalent.
2. Experience: No experience is required, although technical experience is helpful - we will provide you with on-the-job training.
3. Specific Skills: Ability to work without supervision and complete assigned tasks; Basic computer skills.
4. Personal traits: proactive, helpful, conscientious, proud of a job well done; a team player.
5. Certification: Not required. License: Not required.
6. Physical Abilities: Ability to lift 50-75 pounds.
7. Other requirements: Reliable self-transportation.
